Dead-end Structures are where the line ends or angles off. They are typically made of heavier steel in order to withstand higher tensions. The two most common dead-end structures are H-Frame and A-Frame structures. A gantry is a steel pole type support structure in a substation that is used to support the electrical conductor from a nearby transmission tower. Structure is also made up with GI Channel Angle.
All of the electrical conductors on the nearby transmission tower are connected to the gentry in the substation with the help of an insulator. However, the group wire is connected to the top of the gentry without the use of an insulator.
In other words, "an gantry is used in an electrical substation to support the electrical conductor and ensure proper ground clearance."
Mostly bus bar are hanged on the gantry in electrical substation. For make simple and easy connect to all the power device
