33kv VCB (Vacuum circuit breaker) Balaji Make Offload Isolators, 33kv CT, 33kv PT, C & R panel for 33 KV, 33kv Post Insulator, Bus Conductor, Clamp and Connectors, Substation Earthing, Power transformers, and other major equipment are deal by Balaji Engineers. We deal in all Crompton Graves Ltd products, including Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgears, which also include AIS - Indoor & Outdoor, MV GIS, Ring Main Units, Vacuum Interrupters, Compact Substation, Numerical Protection Relays, Auto-Recloser, Vacuum Contactors, Lightning Arrestors.
These equipment's are inspected in accordance with MSEDCL MSETCL or any other electrical board's standard specifications. After reediness, we conduct joint inspections of Testing Engineer and Company (Clint) Engineer at the factory, i.e. manufacturing unit, as per the convenience of both authorities. Balaji Enigneers has its own testing setup, as well as a testing engineer, in our unit at MIDC Shiroli. We can conduct contact resistance tests, high voltage tests, and so on. Balaji Engineers also works with ABB, GE T & D, BHEL, Siemens, Schneider, Meharu, Toshiba, Pragati Electricals, ITC, LAMCO,OBLEM, Exide, Amraraja, Apar, Hitachi,Vension, Ashida, JVS, CGL, Polycab,KEI, and other major electrical brands.
Erection of a power transformer on an existing or new pre - cast concrete platform, including transportation of the transformer and accessories from the site store to the location, as well as erection accessories such as flanges, radiators, and other components. Feeling new oil, springing to the bus conductor, and preparing for charge with oil filtration. Balaji Engineers' roles started with finalising the technical specifications of the transformer, as well as the protection, OLTC, tripping mechanism, and indicators as required by the site.
Balaij Engineers inspect transformer at foctory site along with MSEDCL MSETCL testing Engineers at the manufacturer's unit. We handle unloading, transformer assembly, transformer oil filtration, RTCC panel control wiring, bus bar lugging, and charging with care and in accordance with electrical standard. Earthing of transformer is conducted as per general electrical practises with GI Strip.
We provide Erection services of Current Transformers/ Potential Transformers/ CVT/ SR/ RVT Neutral CT with clamps and connectors on pre-existing steel structures, including transportation from site store to location, fabrication of base frame, fixing of terminal connectors, and tightening of nuts and bolts in all respects.
Balaij Engineers also conduct factory inspections of current transformers and potential transformers in cooperation with MSEDCL MSETCL testing engineers at the manufacturer's unit. We handle unloading, CT PT assembly, CT PT control wiring, bus bar lugging, and charging with care and in accordance with electrical standards. Civil plinth design is carried out in civil activity according to the dimensions provided by CT PT Manufacturer. Earthing is achieved by using a GI Strip / Copper Strip with an Earthing electrode.
Erection of breaker is a key task in substation , our breaker job consisit of assembly of support structure, placement of support structure on foundation, levelling and preparing for grouting as required, placement of support columns/poles, mechanism box/control cubicle, and other accessories as per manufacturer's drawings, fitting as required, electrical wiring from pole to cubicle, fixing of terminal conn.

Erection of Lightning Arrestor on erected steel structures, including transportation of lightning arrestor, clamp and connectors, surge counter, and so on from site store to location, fabrication of base frame, fixing of terminal connectors, surge counter, tightening of nuts and bolts, and so on. Balaji Engineers is a leading manufacturer of 11kv, 22kv, 33kv, 110kv, and 220kv isolators as per MSEDCL and MSETCL, electrical state Discom in India specifications. .Balaji Make Offload Isolators are CPRI, ERDA, and other NABL labs approved products for all relevant type tests. Our products are manufactured with high quality checks to ensure proper performance in the field of a substation switchyard. We also make Isolator structures in both pipe and lactic specifications (In Angle channel fabrication ). In our MIDC Shiroli,Kolhapur (M S) unit, we also perform inspection testing on offload isolators. Contact resistance, mechanical endurance, high voltage testing, temperature rise testing, and other tests are carried out in our factory testing setup.
Our foundation structure is hot dip galvanised up to 85-95 microns. Our technical team is experienced in the installation and maintenance of isolators in substations. The most important aspect of Isolator erection is the alignment of the male connector in the female connector. The required civil foundation, as well as the foundation bolt, are kept ready for the assembly of the Isolator structure. Offload Isolator Disconnectors manufactured by Balaji are widely used in industries for H T Consumers as well as Transmission and Distribution substations. Erection of Isolator on already erected steel structure, including transportation of base frame PI's, Mechanism box, clamps and connectors, etc. from site store to location, minor fabrication and fixing of terminal connectors, etc., adjustment/alignment of isolator and fixing of earth blade is done for smooth operation, and adjustment if necessary after jumpering. Mechanical trails will be conducted for proper operation before Isolator i ready for charge .
Balaji Engineers supply and erect complete C & R panels, including transportation from site store to control room, placement on foundation/ cable trench according to layout, interconnection between C & R panels and existing panels, fixing of side/ top covers and doors, earthing to existing earth strip in control room, and connection of bus wiring to existing panels and between control and relay panels as required.
Our engineers carefully monitor control wiring and cable lugging. Our well-trained technicians can install any type of C R panel, including JVS, Ashida, Vension, Popular, Vinayak, and Stelmake. Balaij Engineers technical team inspect C R Panel factories along with MSEDCL MSETCL testing Engineers at the manufacturer's unit. C and R panels are duplex/simplex type, depending on substation requirements.
Balaji Engineers supply and laying 1.1 kV grade unarmored/armored control cables of Polycab, KIE, Havel's,RR make in cable trench as per specification, including transportation of cable drum from site store to location, laying in cable trenches, placing in the cable racks/ perforated GI cable trays/ cable batten and dressing, including removing and fixing trench covers as required, making necessary connections.
We have an expert team for cable laying in accordance with standard methods, complete with all tools and tackles required for proper cable laying. Balaji Engineers has an expert team for Control wiring at substation Cable laying, Laing of Cable tray, Cable trench, lugging of cable, Vacuum Breaker Connections, Power transformer Connections, Connection of Motorised Isolator, Metering unit, Control and relay panel are some of the services provided by Balaji Engineers. Fill up form A1 provided by Govt Electrical Contractor (Baljai Engineers,Kolhapur ) and submit it to the sub-division office of your area.
Submit the all required documents.
Once the application is submitted to the sub-division office, it will be followed by site visit by the Area Engineer to verify details.
After the site visit, you will be issued a Firm Quotation form by the sub-division office. The certificate gives the break-up of amount to be paid like SLC, SCC, security deposit and meter charges.
Appoint a Govt Electrical Contractor ( Balaji Engineers, Kolhapur ) to Co ordinate MSEDCL officials and Visit nearest tapping point for Industrial unit which technically feasible. Govt Contractor agency will erect required Infrastructure by procuring material from MSEDCL Approved venders
Electrical Inspector Authority will check all distance between equipments and all safety aspects including Earthing and Proper erection of equipments as per Electrical standards.
After proper documentation with MSEDCL with help of Government recognised electrical contractors,Fill all receipts of amount paid and equipment Testing reports which allows MSEDCL to give final charging permission
The same will be followed by visit by the Testing Engineer to test all wiring and installed equipments and the meter release the connection.
