The installation of a 33kv 800 amp isolator disconnector should be done by a trained electrician or electrical contractor only .<\/p>

Selection of isolator disconnector specification should be get from competent electrical authority. As per electrical system design . Also capacity of isolator should be finalised like 800 Amp , 1250 Amp ,1600 Amp, 2000 Amp Ampere rating , also need to clear about system fault level such as 12.5 KA for 3 sec , 25 KA for 3 Sec etc finally Isolator design such as Banging type , Turn and twist type to be final before giving order to Isolator manufacturer such as Balaji Isolators .<\/p>

After finalisation of Order with Isolator manufacturer , Isolator manufacturer will provide Drawing and Foundation drawing of Isolator , After checking drawings with marking of deviations if contractor need to start excavation of civil foundation as provided by Isolator manufacturer Civil foundation is very important subject in isolator installation as alignment of isolator is depend upon the correct dimensional level from ground .Foundation bolts to be erected properly in civil plinth provided by Isolator manufacturer .<\/p>

Once the installation is complete, turn on the power supply to the isolator disconnector and ensure that it is functioning correctly. Test the isolator disconnector to ensure that it is working properly by mechanically operation.<\/p>
